Tragic Incident at DGP Office

A tragic incident took place at the Director General of Police (DGP) office in Hyderabad at around 5:30 PM, where an on-duty police constable died by suicide. The constable, identified as Swamy, reportedly went to the office washroom and shot himself with his service weapon.

Hearing the sound of the gunshot, fellow police personnel immediately rushed to the spot. However, they found that Swamy had already succumbed to his injuries.

Suicide Note Recovered from the Spot

During the inspection of the scene, police recovered a suicide note believed to have been written by Constable Swamy.

In the note, Swamy requested that no one should blame his wife and children, stating that they were good-hearted people and had done nothing wrong. His emotional words about his family have deeply saddened those who came across the note.

He also reportedly wrote that even after his death, he would continue to protect his wife and children, expressing his deep love and concern for them.

Senior Officials Visit DGP Office

After receiving information about the incident, senior police officials immediately reached the DGP office and reviewed the situation. The body was later shifted to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
