Komatireddy Venkat Reddy's Sensational Announcement on Next Elections; Will Contest Only If Assured of the Highest Majority

Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy made sensational remarks about his political future while addressing a public meeting in Nalgonda. He stated that he would contest the next Assembly elections only if the people of Nalgonda assure him of giving the highest majority in the state. Otherwise, he said, he would completely stay away from the electoral race. His comments have now become a major topic of discussion in Telangana politics.

“I Will Contest Only If People Give Me the Highest Majority”

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that the people of Nalgonda should decide whether he should continue in electoral politics. He asserted that he would seek another term only if the constituency promises to elect him with the highest majority in Telangana. Without such a clear mandate, he said, he would not contest the upcoming Assembly elections.

“Vote Based on My Work, Not My Campaign”

The minister urged voters to evaluate him based on the development and welfare initiatives implemented in Nalgonda rather than his election campaign. He said he would not even need to campaign personally if people believed in the work he had done over the years. According to him, performance should matter more than political publicity.

Minister Opens Up About His Personal Assets

Speaking about his personal life, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that despite serving as an MLA for several terms and as a minister multiple times, he still does not own a house in his name. He revealed that he continues to live in a rented house in Hyderabad and owns no significant assets other than ancestral property.

“Public Service Is My Only Goal”

The minister reiterated that the development of Nalgonda remains his primary objective. He said that whether he holds a position or not, he would continue to work for the welfare of the people. His remarks about both his political future and personal lifestyle have sparked widespread debate in Telangana’s political circles.
