YSRCP Focuses on Local Body Elections.. Botsa Gives Key Call to Party Cadre

Botsa Satyanarayana Urges YSRCP Cadre to Stay Strong Ahead of Local Body Polls

Botsa Says There Is No Need to Worry Over Leaders Leaving YSRCP

Vizianagaram: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Legislative Council Opposition Leader Botsa Satyanarayana addressed party workers at a meeting held in Vizianagaram and urged them not to lose confidence over some leaders leaving the party.

Botsa said he had been active in politics for nearly 40 years and had witnessed several political developments during his career. He said party workers need not be worried about leaders leaving the YSRCP.

“If one person leaves the party, 100 new leaders will come,” Botsa said, assuring the cadre that the party would continue to remain strong.

Botsa Criticises Leaders Who Left the Party

Botsa Satyanarayana strongly criticised the leaders who have recently left the YSRCP. He alleged that those who were involved in financial transactions, participated in activities against the government and had become accustomed to exploitation were the ones leaving the party.

He claimed that leaders who worked honestly and with dignity had not left the YSRCP.

Criticism of Coalition Leaders

Botsa also criticised the conduct of the leaders of the ruling coalition in Andhra Pradesh. He said their style of functioning was causing frustration among both the public and political leaders.

Taking a jibe at the coalition leaders, Botsa compared their alleged functioning to the story of “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.” He alleged that they were acting together and indulging in exploitation in the state.

Focus on Upcoming Local Body Elections

Botsa Satyanarayana called upon YSRCP leaders and workers to focus on the upcoming local body elections. He asked the party cadre to work for the victory of YSRCP candidates from the ward member level to MPTC and ZPTC positions.

He stressed the importance of strengthening the party at the grassroots level and urged leaders and workers to actively work in their respective areas.

Botsa Urges Cadre Not to Lose Confidence

Botsa appealed to YSRCP workers not to lose their morale or confidence. He asked every leader and party worker to work hard and strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.

He said the party cadre should remain united, work with determination and prepare for the upcoming local body elections.
