YSRCP spokesperson Rachamallu has launched a strong attack on the Chandrababu Naidu government, alleging that the administration is marked by scams, irregularities, injustice and suppression. He alleged that instead of answering people’s questions over the implementation of the Super Six and Super Seven promises made during the elections, the government is bringing up one political controversy after another to divert public attention from its alleged failures.
“Super Six and Super Seven Promises Have Failed”
Rachamallu demanded that the government give clear answers on the implementation of the promises made to the people during the elections.
He alleged that the government is deliberately raising new political issues every day to divert attention from its alleged failure to fulfil election promises. According to him, the people deserve transparency on the status of the promises made by the ruling coalition.
From Sand to Laterite: Allegations Over Natural Resources
Rachamallu also levelled serious allegations regarding the use and extraction of natural resources in Andhra Pradesh.
He alleged that sand, soil, quartz and laterite are being extracted and exploited in an arbitrary manner. He demanded greater transparency in the government’s policies concerning the extraction and utilisation of natural resources.
He said the government should provide clear information on how natural resources are being allocated, extracted and utilised.
“Red Book Rajyam”: Rachamallu Alleges Suppression of Dissent
Rachamallu criticised the government over what he alleged was the use of cases and other measures against those questioning the administration.
He alleged that people raising their voices against the government are being subjected to illegal cases and harassment. Suppressing voices that question the government, he said, is against democratic principles.
Rachamallu demanded that the government focus on public issues instead of allegedly targeting political opponents through cases and other forms of pressure.
Are Political Controversies Being Used to Divert Public Attention?
Rachamallu alleged that controversial issues, including illegal liquor-related allegations and the Viveka case, are being repeatedly brought into the political discourse with the intention of shifting public attention away from the government’s alleged failures.
He argued that political controversies should not overshadow issues directly affecting the people. According to him, discussions should focus on governance, welfare, employment and other public concerns rather than repeatedly turning political controversies into the centre of public debate.
“Do Not Mislead People With Fabricated Stories”
Rachamallu further alleged that different narratives are being circulated over certain cases and incidents for political purposes.
He said the government and political parties should place facts before the public instead of engaging in allegations and counter-allegations. Investigations and due legal processes, he said, should determine the facts in disputed cases.
Government Must Answer Questions on Public Issues
Rachamallu demanded that the government provide clear answers on the implementation of election promises, the use of natural resources, public grievances and transparency in governance.
He said political accusations and counter-accusations should not replace accountability on issues that directly affect the people. According to Rachamallu, the government should explain its performance to the public and address concerns over its administration.
