A verbal confrontation between leaders of the Government Employees’ Unions and the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (APNGO) Association escalated into a physical altercation, creating a tense atmosphere at the spot.

The disagreement between the two groups intensified after the meeting with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Leaders from both sides reportedly engaged in heated arguments and eventually grabbed each other by the collars and pushed one another.
APNGO leaders also raised slogans against the leaders of the Government Employees’ Unions, further escalating tensions outside the Chief Minister’s residence.

The employees’ union representatives had reportedly met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss several long-pending issues, including employees’ arrears, the Pay Revision Commission (PRC), and other demands.

APNGO leaders accused the Government Employees’ Union leaders of allegedly compromising on employees’ issues and yielding to the government instead of firmly fighting for the demands of employees.

The confrontation soon turned physical, with leaders from both sides reportedly grabbing each other by their collars and pushing one another.
Government Employees’ Association leader Suryanarayana’s alleged remarks, “Do whatever you can,” also sparked controversy during the confrontation.
