Tadepalli, Sep 22: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has alleged that the coalition government is resorting to attacks on YSRCP cadres to suppress and cover up alleged irregularities in the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process.
Speaking in Tadepalli on Monday, Sajjala said it was “highly condemnable” that those staging peaceful protests over the alleged DSC irregularities were being subjected to attacks.
Allegations of Irregularities in DSC Recruitment
Sajjala alleged that several irregularities have come to light in the DSC recruitment process. These include appointments of candidates who allegedly did not meet the required TET eligibility criteria, recruitment in subjects unrelated to the candidates’ qualifications, irregularities in the sports quota, and issues involving fake or forged documents.
He said the allegations surrounding the recruitment process need to be thoroughly investigated and addressed.
YSRCP to Fight the Issue Legally
Sajjala said the YSRCP would continue to fight against the alleged irregularities through the courts. He asserted that the party would not allow the coalition government to continue what he described as its attempts to suppress the issue.
He further stated that the party would continue to stand with those raising concerns over the DSC recruitment process and would pursue the matter through legal and democratic means.
