Political Rift Deepens Between Alliance Parties in Ongole

The differences between the alliance parties in Ongole, Prakasam district, are reportedly deepening day by day. The war of words between TDP MLA Damacharla Janardhan Rao and Jana Sena leader and former MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has intensified. On Sunday, Balineni made sensational allegations that MLA Damacharla was involved in corruption. Responding to the allegations, Damacharla also hit back strongly at Balineni.

Balineni Stands by Corruption Allegations

Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has once again made strong remarks against MLA Damacharla. He made it clear that he stands by the allegations he had previously made and demanded that the MLA respond to them. Balineni also called for a comprehensive inquiry into the corruption allegations against Damacharla.

Balineni further challenged Damacharla to announce a date for taking an oath at Kanipakam, stating that he would accompany him. He said he was ready to stand by his allegations and face any scrutiny.

Allegations of Late-Night Settlements in Ongole

Balineni alleged that MLA Damacharla was allegedly involved in settlements in Ongole until late at night. He said that whenever he questioned such activities, the MLA was resorting to personal criticism against him instead of answering the allegations.

Balineni also expressed concern that Jana Sena activists were being treated unfairly in the Ongole constituency. He alleged that the interests and concerns of Jana Sena workers were being ignored despite their role in supporting the alliance.

Issues to Be Taken Up With Pawan Kalyan

Balineni said he would soon bring the alleged irregularities taking place in Ongole, along with the problems being faced by the people, to the attention of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.

He also claimed that Damacharla was elected as MLA with the votes of Jana Sena supporters and activists. Balineni questioned the MLA’s conduct and said the concerns of alliance supporters should not be ignored.

Balineni Challenges Damacharla to Resign

Balineni Srinivasa Reddy went a step further and challenged Damacharla to resign from the MLA post and contest the next election as an independent candidate.

He claimed that if Damacharla contested independently, he would defeat him by a margin of 30,000 votes. Balineni also made a sensational statement that if he lost such a contest, he would permanently withdraw from politics.

The latest exchange between the two leaders has once again highlighted the growing differences within the alliance camp in Ongole. The political confrontation is likely to attract further attention, particularly if the allegations and counter-allegations continue to escalate.
