Mega DSC 2025 Recruitment Process Sparks Major Controversy in Andhra Pradesh

The Mega DSC–2025 teacher recruitment process in Andhra Pradesh has become a controversy. Many candidates who had been waiting for government teaching jobs for years took the examination got ranks and went for certificate verification.. They were shocked to find their names missing from the final selection lists.

Candidates say they got call letters and completed certificate verification. Their names were removed from the final lists without any explanation.

As protests grow across the state youth and teacher aspirants are demanding a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities and seeking the resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh.

What Are the Main Allegations in DSC 2025?

Candidates say several unusual things happened during the recruitment process:

  • Eligible candidates got call letters and completed certificate verification.
  • No merit list or selection list was made public before appointments.
  • One candidate per vacancy was called for certificate verification.
  • Some candidates disappeared from the selection list even after verification.
  • Their names were not in the rejected candidates list either.
  • Grievance petitions did not provide explanations.

These issues have raised concerns about transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

Objections Over the 1:1 Verification Ratio

Candidates argue that recruitment processes usually involve calling candidates for verification against each vacancy before making final selections.

In DSC–2025 only one candidate was called for certificate verification against each post. Out of 336,307 candidates who took the examination call letters were issued for the 16,437 available posts.

Many candidates claim that after completing original certificate verification their names did not appear in the final selection lists leading to suspicions about the recruitment process.

Were Selections Made Without a Merit List?

One of the concerns raised by candidates is the alleged absence of a publicly available merit list.

Candidates say recruitment rules require authorities to release merit lists based on reservation policies and roster systems.. They claim that DSC–2025 followed different procedures at various stages, including examination results, certificate verification and final selection.

Without a published merit list candidates say they could not verify their rankings or understand how final selections were made.
