Botsa Anusha Appointed YSRCP Bhimli Constituency Coordinator

Visakhapatnam, Sep 19: Botsa Anusha has been appointed as the YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) coordinator for the Bhimli Assembly constituency. Following the directions of YSRCP president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party’s central office officially announced her appointment.

Key Responsibilities in Bhimli

As the constituency coordinator, Botsa Anusha will be responsible for taking forward YSRCP programmes in Bhimli in a more coordinated manner. Her responsibilities will include strengthening coordination between party leaders and workers and bringing public issues in the constituency to the attention of the party leadership.

Appointment Follows Majji Srinivas’ Exit

The appointment comes after Majji Srinivas, who was previously serving as the YSRCP coordinator for Bhimli, resigned from his position and joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

With the party yet to announce his replacement, there had been considerable discussion over who would be given responsibility for the constituency. The YSRCP has now put an end to the speculation by appointing Botsa Anusha, daughter of senior politician Botsa Satyanarayana, as the Bhimli constituency coordinator.

Political Significance in North Andhra

Botsa Anusha’s appointment has assumed significance in North Andhra politics, particularly given her political background and her association with Botsa Satyanarayana.

Botsa Satyanarayana has already made it clear that he intends to contest the 2029 Assembly elections from the Cheepurupalli constituency. Against this backdrop, the decision to assign his daughter responsibility for the Bhimli constituency has generated political interest.

YSRCP Looks to Strengthen Party Activities

With the new appointment, YSRCP leaders and party workers are expected to focus on strengthening the party organisation and activities in Bhimli.

Party sources believe that the appointment of Botsa Anusha could give further momentum to YSRCP activities in the constituency and help improve coordination among local leaders and workers.
