The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is mourning the loss of senior leader and former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who passed away after battling critical health complications. He had been undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad for the past seven days. Doctors confirmed that he breathed his last at 12:51 a.m. after his condition deteriorated. His demise has left party workers, supporters, and well-wishers in deep shock.
Hospitalized After Sudden Cardiac Arrest
About a week ago, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy suffered a sudden heart attack and was initially admitted to a hospital in Warangal. As his condition became critical, he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad while doctors performed CPR during the transfer. According to the medical team, he had become brain dead during the resuscitation process. Despite being placed on ventilator support and receiving intensive treatment under specialist supervision, doctors were unable to revive him.
Wave of Grief Across Narsampet Constituency
News of Sudarshan Reddy’s death spread quickly, casting a pall of gloom over the Narsampet constituency. Hundreds of supporters, party workers, and local leaders gathered at the hospital to pay their last respects. Several political leaders expressed profound condolences to the bereaved family and remembered his contributions as a dedicated public representative and Telangana movement leader.
Funeral Procession to Native Village
His mortal remains were shifted from Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad to Narsampet on Saturday morning. A large funeral procession began from Girni Bavi in Duggondi Mandal and proceeded to the Narsampet constituency headquarters, where the public was given an opportunity to pay their respects.
Final Journey Through Villages
After the public homage in Narsampet, the funeral procession is scheduled to pass through Muthojipeta, Itukalapalli, Gundlapadu, and Rudragudem before reaching his native village, Nallabelli.
Last Rites Scheduled This Evening
The final rites of Peddi Sudarshan Reddy are expected to be performed at 4:00 p.m. in Nallabelli village. Family members, political leaders, party workers, and thousands of supporters are expected to attend the funeral to bid a final farewell to the veteran leader.
