AP Mega DSC 2025: Cockroach Janata Party Seeks Independent Probe Into Teacher Recruitment Allegations

Amaravati, Oct 1: The Andhra Pradesh unit of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has demanded an independent investigation into alleged irregularities in the state’s Mega DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process.

Speaking at a press conference in Amaravati, CJP leader Chetan Pramod called for an impartial probe to establish the facts surrounding the recruitment of teachers in Andhra Pradesh.

The Mega DSC-2025 recruitment drive was conducted to fill 16,347 teacher vacancies across the state. The government has said that 15,941 candidates were ultimately issued appointment orders.

Allegations Over AP DSC 2025 Recruitment

According to the CJP, opposition parties and some job aspirants have raised questions over various aspects of the AP Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment process.

The issues raised include TET eligibility rules, sports quota certificates, candidate verification, examination procedures and the selection process.

Chetan Pramod said some DSC candidates had approached the party with complaints about alleged irregularities. He claimed that candidates felt their concerns were being given a political angle instead of being examined on their merits.

The CJP has claimed that it has evidence relating to alleged irregularities in the DSC 2025 recruitment process. Pramod therefore demanded an investigation by an independent agency to determine whether recruitment rules were violated.

He added that the party would discuss the issue with its national leadership before announcing its next course of action.

Government Rejects DSC Irregularity Claims

The allegations have been disputed by the Andhra Pradesh government. State officials have said that candidates selected under the sports quota met the eligibility requirements and that the recruitment process followed the applicable rules and verification procedures.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has also rejected allegations of irregularities in the Mega DSC recruitment, while Education Minister Nara Lokesh has defended the recruitment process.

Jagan Also Seeks CBI Probe

The demand for an independent investigation comes amid an ongoing political dispute over the Mega DSC-2025 recruitment allegations.

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy recently met Governor S Abdul Nazeer and sought a CBI investigation into alleged irregularities in the teacher recruitment process.

Jagan has raised allegations involving the examination process, sports quota certificates, government orders and other aspects of the recruitment. The government has rejected the allegations and maintained that the recruitment was conducted according to the prescribed rules.

CJP Raises Youth Unemployment Issue

Chetan Pramod also referred to unemployment among Gen-Z youth in Andhra Pradesh during the press conference. He cited a figure of around 4 per cent for the youth unemployment rate.

The CJP said concerns over employment opportunities and government recruitment should be addressed through transparent procedures and independent scrutiny where allegations are raised.

Pramod also criticised the law concerning the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, calling it defective and demanding his resignation.

The latest developments add another dimension to the ongoing debate over AP Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment, with political parties and other groups seeking investigations while the state government maintains that the recruitment process was conducted according to the rules.
