YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again questioned Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over allegations of irregularities in the DSC (District Selection Committee) recruitment process. Jagan expressed concern that if the credibility of recruitment examinations is compromised, it would not only affect the results but also undermine the hopes and trust of lakhs of unemployed candidates.
Lakhs of Aspirants Preparing for Government Jobs
Responding on social media on Monday, Jagan said that lakhs of candidates have been preparing for government jobs for years, spending their families’ hard-earned money in the process. He said that all these candidates need is a fair, impartial and transparent opportunity to prove their merit.
According to Jagan, any shortcomings or irregularities in the recruitment system would go beyond merely affecting examination results. They would also erode the confidence of unemployed youth in the entire recruitment process.
Jagan Questions Government’s Responsibility
Questioning Chandrababu Naidu directly, Jagan said that ensuring justice for candidates cannot be treated as an option for the government, but must be considered its responsibility.
He questioned whether the government does not have a responsibility to ensure justice for the hard work put in by the candidates and whether it should not be accountable for their future.
‘Will Chandrababu Take Responsibility?’
Jagan questioned whether Chandrababu Naidu would take responsibility for the allegations reportedly emerging in connection with the DSC recruitment process.
He urged the government not to play with the future of unemployed youth and demanded that justice be done to the candidates who have worked hard for the recruitment examinations.
Demand for a Fair and Transparent Recruitment Process
Jagan’s latest comments have once again brought the DSC recruitment process into the political spotlight. He stressed the need to protect the credibility of government recruitment examinations and ensure that candidates receive a fair and transparent opportunity based on merit.
