Jana Sena Voices Discontent Ahead of Local Body Elections
As local body elections approach, differences within the ruling alliance are once again coming to the fore. Recent comments by Tadepalligudem Jana Sena MLA Bolishetti Srinivas have triggered a political debate.
Srinivas appealed to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu not to treat Jana Sena workers like labourers. He also called on the party cadre to ensure that Jana Sena contests the upcoming local body elections in areas where the party has a strong presence.
Bolishetti Srinivas Raises Concerns Over Alliance Coordination
Bolishetti Srinivas had recently made similar strong remarks at a Jana Sena meeting in the Mummidivaram constituency.
He alleged that Jana Sena workers were being suppressed in areas where the TDP had won elections. At the same time, he said that Jana Sena leaders were respecting TDP leaders in constituencies where Jana Sena had emerged victorious.
Srinivas said he would raise these issues with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the next Coordination Committee meeting and seek his intervention.
Jana Sena Leader Chikkala Dorababu Also Voices Anger
Meanwhile, Jana Sena leader Chikkala Dorababu also expressed dissatisfaction over the treatment of Jana Sena workers within the alliance.
He alleged that when Jana Sena activists were taken to police stations, party leaders were sometimes unable to secure their release. He said it was not appropriate for TDP leaders to sideline Jana Sena after using the party when its support was needed.
Dorababu further said that Jana Sena had sacrificed even the Chief Minister’s post for the sake of the alliance. He went on to argue that there would be nothing wrong if the TDP gave 100 percent of the seats to Jana Sena, while also referring to the demand for Pawan Kalyan to become Chief Minister.
Seat-Sharing Becomes a Key Issue
With local body elections drawing closer, Jana Sena leaders speaking openly about seat-sharing, the importance of party workers and relations with the TDP have opened up a fresh debate within alliance politics.
The latest statements have raised questions over whether these are merely individual expressions of dissatisfaction or whether they reflect wider sentiments within the Jana Sena cadre.

Another question being discussed in political circles is whether the emergence of such voices is part of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s broader political strategy.
