CBI Probe Must Be Ordered Into DSC Irregularities, Minister Should Resign: Botsa Satyanarayana

Botsa Satyanarayana Slams Alliance Government Over Governance, DSC Row and Bhogapuram Airport

Government Focused on Publicity, Ignoring People’s Problems

YSRCP Legislative Council Opposition Leader Botsa Satyanarayana strongly criticized the Andhra Pradesh Alliance Government, alleging that it has completely neglected people’s issues and is relying solely on publicity campaigns instead of governance.

Addressing the media in Vizianagaram, Botsa said the government has failed to answer several important public concerns and is more interested in publicity than solving real problems.

Demands CBI Probe Into DSC Recruitment Irregularities

Referring to the resignation of a Union Minister following the NEET examination paper leak controversy in New Delhi, Botsa alleged that similar irregularities had taken place in the Andhra Pradesh DSC recruitment process.

He claimed that nearly 300,000 unemployed candidates suffered due to the alleged irregularities. Botsa demanded an immediate CBI investigation into the DSC issue and insisted that the concerned minister should resign until the inquiry is completed.

Alleges Manipulation in Sports Quota Recruitment

Botsa accused the government of changing Government Orders (GOs) after issuing recruitment notifications under the Sports Quota.

He stated that previous governments had directly appointed eligible sportspersons based on merit, whereas the current administration allegedly modified rules to benefit selected individuals. He challenged the government to order an independent inquiry if it was genuinely committed to transparency.

Questions Delay in Unemployment Allowance and Fee Reimbursement

The YSRCP leader also criticized the Alliance Government for failing to fulfill its election promise of providing an Unemployment Allowance.

He alleged that around ₹10,000 crore in Fee Reimbursement and Vasathi Deevena dues remain pending. Botsa urged the government to immediately release the pending funds and warned against jeopardizing students’ futures.

Claims YSRCP Accelerated Bhogapuram Airport Project

Commenting on the Bhogapuram International Airport project, Botsa accused the government of taking undue credit through large-scale publicity events.

He clarified that the airport project originated under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and alleged that the previous TDP government failed to complete land acquisition for even 15,000 acres.

According to Botsa, it was the YSRCP government that secured all necessary approvals and significantly accelerated the project’s implementation during its tenure.

Challenges Ashok Gajapathi Raju Over MANSAS Trust

Botsa objected to repeated criticism of the YSRCP party office in Vizianagaram and remarked that feudal-style politics had no place in modern democracy.

He alleged that irregularities existed in the MANSAS Trust and claimed that former royal family member Ananda Gajapathi Raju had earlier written a letter seeking the trust’s merger with the government. Botsa questioned whether Ashok Gajapathi Raju could deny that claim.

He concluded by stating that the YSRCP is ready for an open public debate on all these issues and challenged Alliance leaders to participate.
