RA NTR Announces Closure Amid Growing Controversy
The organization ‘RA NTR’, which recently created a buzz on social media by announcing large-scale welfare activities in the name of Jr NTR fans, has now unexpectedly decided to shut down all its operations. The group, which had become a hot topic over the past few days, officially announced that it would cease all activities with immediate effect.
In a farewell message posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the organization sarcastically stated, “Congratulations to everyone who succeeded,” before signing off. The post has since gone viral across social media platforms.
Rs.100 Crore Welfare Plan Sparked Massive Attention
The controversy began after RA NTR announced a statewide social service initiative titled “Ooru-Vaada”, claiming it would spend Rs.100 crore on welfare programs across Andhra Pradesh.
The announcement immediately attracted widespread attention. Many social media users compared the proposed initiative to the extensive welfare activities carried out by Tamil actor Vijay’s fan associations. Speculation also grew that the initiative could be the first step towards Jr NTR’s possible political entry, leading to intense discussions online.
Jr NTR’s Office Distanced Itself From the Organization
The speculation, however, was short-lived.
Jr NTR’s official office released a statement clarifying that it had no connection whatsoever with the RA NTR organization. The statement emphasized that certain individuals were attempting to use Jr NTR’s name and image for personal interests.
Following this clarification, many Nandamuri fans also expressed strong opposition to the organization, further intensifying the controversy.

As criticism mounted, RA NTR representative Sai Roop held a press conference in Tirupati, insisting that the organization’s sole objective was social service.
However, when questioned about how the organization planned to raise the proposed Rs.100 crore for the welfare activities, he failed to provide convincing answers. The lack of clarity fueled further skepticism and triggered even stronger criticism on social media.
