YSRCP Extends Support to Students and Youth
The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has expressed its support for the ongoing protests by students and youth in New Delhi over the alleged NEET paper leak. The party stated that it would always stand by young people on issues affecting their future.
In an official statement, YSRCP said, “Democracy should not only exist but also inspire confidence among people that it is being upheld.”
Appeal to Governments to Respond Sensitively
The party urged governments to handle the protests by students and youth with responsibility and sensitivity. It called on authorities to listen to their genuine concerns and work towards meaningful solutions.
YSRCP emphasized that peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic right of every citizen. At the same time, it appealed to all stakeholders to maintain restraint so that the demonstrations remain peaceful.
NEET Paper Leak Has Shaken Public Trust
According to YSRCP, the alleged NEET paper leak has severely damaged the confidence of students and parents in India’s examination system.
The party stressed that comprehensive reforms are urgently needed to improve transparency, security, and accountability in the conduct of competitive examinations.
Demand for Independent Probe into AP DSC Irregularities
YSRCP also alleged that evidence of paper leaks, irregularities, and malpractice in the Andhra Pradesh DSC examinations has surfaced.
The party demanded that the issue should not be treated as a political controversy but should instead be investigated by an independent and impartial agency to uncover the truth.
No Compromise on Students’ Future
Reiterating its stand, YSRCP said there should be no compromise when it comes to the future of students, whether it concerns NEET or DSC examinations.
The party asserted that it is the responsibility of every democratic government to uncover the truth, rectify systemic flaws, and take strict action against those found responsible for any wrongdoing.
