Ambati Alleges Contradictory Statements by Deputy CM
Ambati Rambabu, a senior leader of the YSR Congress Party criticized Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Ambati Rambabu said Pawan Kalyan is speaking out of both sides of his mouth on issues like the Sai Krishna case and the Sugali Preethi case.
At a press conference in Amaravati Ambati Rambabu said Pawan Kalyans comments are confusing people and the families of the victims. Ambati Rambabu thinks Pawan Kalyans statements are causing confusion than confidence among the people.
Questions Raised Over Pawan’s Stand on Sai Krishna Case
Ambati Rambabu pointed out that the state government promised Sai Krishnas family that they would get justice.. Pawan Kalyan made comments that made Sai Krishna look like a criminal.
Ambati Rambabu also talked about Jana Sena leader Samineni Uday Bhanu visiting Sai Krishnas family. Ambati Rambabu asked how Jana Sena leaders could say they were sent by Pawan Kalyan to comfort the family when Pawan Kalyan was making comments that seemed to judge the case before it was over.
Ambati Rambabu did not like Pawan Kalyans threats that YSR Congress Party leaders would be “taught a lesson”. Ambati Rambabu said this kind of talk is not suitable for someone in a high government position like Pawan Kalyan.
‘Constitutional Authorities Must Maintain Decorum’
Ambati Rambabu said people in government positions should be careful about what they say in public.
He also mentioned comments made by Jana Sena MLA Pantham Nanaji. Ambati Rambabu wants people to pay attention to how leaders of the ruling party’re behaving.
Ambati Rambabu said people know who the real troublemakers are. Pawan Kalyan can make threats. Ysr Congress Party leaders are not afraid of him.
Ambati Reacts to ‘I Am Not the Home Minister’ Remark
Pawan Kalyan said it is lucky that he is not the Home Minister. Ambati Rambabu said this comment implies that the current Home Minister is not doing a job.
Ambati Rambabu joked that if Pawan Kalyan really thinks he can handle law and order better then Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu should give him the Home Minister job.
Demand for CBI or NIA Probe in Sai Krishna Case
Ambati Rambabu said no one should take the law into their hands. He compared this to the case of Ajmal Kasab, who was convicted of an attack in Mumbai. Ambati Rambabu said even people accused of crimes should be treated according to the law.
Ambati Rambabu questioned the governments decision to create a Special Investigation Team when an officer was already looking into the Sai Krishna case.
Ambati Rambabu thinks the government is trying to manage pressure with political tricks instead of having a fair investigation. He wants the case to be given to the Central Bureau of Investigation or the National Investigation Agency so the truth can come out.
Criticism Over Remarks on Kapu Leaders’ Meeting
Ambati Rambabu did not like Pawan Kalyans comments about the meeting of Kapu community leaders in Konaseema.
He said Pawan Kalyan talks about caste issues a lot. Ambati Rambabu accused Pawan Kalyan of being inconsistent. Ambati Rambabu said Jana Sena leaders went to support Sai Krishnas family while they were also protesting the arrest of CI Nagaraju, who is involved in the case.
‘Political Double Standards Must End’
Ambati Rambabu ended by saying Pawan Kalyan is being contradictory. Ambati Rambabu wants people, in power to be more accountable. Ambati Rambabu thinks justice should be served through investigations and the law not through political statements and show.
