Candidates Complain of Injustice in DSC Recruitment
Many DSC candidates met Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. They said that the DSC recruitment process was unfair. The candidates have concerns about the sports quota selections. They said some selected candidates have certificates that’re not related to the subjects they will teach. They said they do not mind sports quota candidates being appointed for sports-related jobs.. They do not understand why they are assigned to teach subjects they are not qualified for. This can affect the quality of education in government schools.

The candidates said that when they tried to raise their concerns in the media they were trolled on media. They said that the DSC merit lists were changed times. The cutoff marks were not officially announced. Some merit lists on the website were removed after a few days. They asked why the selection lists were not released district-wise during the recruitment process.

The candidates thanked Jagan for listening to their problems. They said he brought their issues to the publics attention.
